How BTC 15m UP/DOWN works
A TakePair BTC market is a timed price call between two players. The oracle is Binance spot. The length is usually 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
The window
Each round has a bet cutoff and a resolve time. You can place or take orders only while the market is accepting bets. After cutoff, stakes stay locked until settlement.
Binance oracle
Settlement compares the 1-minute candle close at cutoff with the close at resolve on the listed Binance pair. TakePair does not invent a mid-price; those two prints decide UP, DOWN, or FLAT.
FLAT outcomes
If the two prints are equal within the published draw threshold, the market can resolve FLAT. A quiet 15 minutes can still be FLAT even when the daily headline is bullish.
Matching, not a book
Your UP order waits for someone to take DOWN (or the reverse). Matched stakes are peer-to-peer. Unmatched orders can be cancelled while the market is open.
